Before you start

Claude Code installed and signed in. This compatibility plugin adds skills and diagnostic hooks; restricted execution uses the separate source launcher.

Need Claude Code?

  1. Add the marketplace and plugin

    Terminal · your project
    claude plugin marketplace add backbay-labs/chio-claude-code-plugin
claude plugin install chio@chio

  2. Reload Claude Code

    Restart the session in this project so the installed skills and hooks are loaded.

  3. Check the installed plugin

    Claude Code · chat
    /plugin
    Expected checkpoint

    Open Installed in the plugin manager and find chio@chio. Enable it for this project if needed.

    This confirms plugin discovery. It does not put every Claude tool behind Chio.
